The HPYO is proud to announce the launch of its second annual SUMMER CAMPS!!!

You’ve never studied music? NO PROBLEM!
You don’t have an instrument? NO PROBLEM!*
Situated in downtown Hamilton, the camps will offer a great musical day-camp experience to youth ages 8- 14 regardless of musical literacy or playing level. Activities will include collective and individual instrumental coaching*, choral/singing ensembles, basic to advanced theory lessons and rhythm/percussion training. Canada’s Sesquicentennial Summer will be the inspiration for many learning experiences focused on the region and country’s rich cultural diversity.
The six (6) one-week* 2017 HPYO Summer Camps will be held on the following dates:
- July 4th to July 7th
- July 10th to July 14th
- July 17th to July 21st
- July 24th to July 28th
- July 31st to August 4th
- August 7th to August 11th
Camp fees are $109/week (except July 4th to July 7th, $89) per camper. Musical and learning activities will be held daily between 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm. Camper supervision is included in camp fees between 12pm and 1pm. Supervision/aftercare between 8am-9am and 4pm-5pm upon request at an additional fee of $50/week. Camp activities will be based in the Crowne Plaza Hotel at 150 King St. East**.Campers must bring snacks and lunches, instruments (if applicable) and lots of positive learning energy!

*Activities offered subject to availability and sufficient number of registered participants. Should the HPYO not be able to offer certain instrumental disciplines or weeks of service, registered participants shall be notified 4 weeks in advance at the latest. Instrument rental available, certain conditions and costs may apply.
**Subject to change to accommodate larger/smaller numbers of participants. The HPYO will notify affected registered participants as early as possible.
